Northeast Wins first-ever U-19 Women's NASC

The Northeast U-19 women's team defeated the Midwest and the West teams to claim the inaugural Under-19 National All-Stars Championship down in Tennessee this weekend.

Day One Scores:
West defeated South, 22-0
Northeast defeated Midwest, 20-5

Day Two Scores:
Midwest defeated South, 25-0
Northeast defeated West, 19-10 (Championship)

Final Standings:
1. Northeast
2. West
3. Midwest
4. South

It's worth noting that the Northeast team only had five high school players on its roster and the remainder were collegiate players, including several from Army. Despite the age and experience of these collegiate players, the exposure to higher-level play of a collegiate rugby game versus a high school game surely helped the Northeast this weekend.
